Resource – July 2026

Thank You To All The Child Protection Professionals

Each year, World Child Protection Professionals Day (recognized on July 7th) recognizes the dedicated professionals who work every day to keep children safe and help them heal from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence. From child advocacy centers and child welfare agencies to healthcare, law enforcement, behavioral health, schools, and the courts, these professionals carry out some of the most challenging and important work in our communities.

Child protection professionals listen to children with compassion, support caregivers, coordinate multidisciplinary responses, advocate for safety, and connect families with evidence-based treatments that promote healing and resilience. Their work requires expertise, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to placing children’s well-being at the center of every decision.

This day is also a reminder that supporting children begins with supporting the professionals who serve them. High-quality training, effective supervision, healthy workplaces, and attention to workers’ well-being help ensure that child protection professionals can continue providing the skilled, compassionate care that children and families deserve.

On World Child Protection Professionals Day, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone working to protect children and strengthen families. Your dedication changes lives every day, and your impact reaches farther than you can see. Thank you for working to keep children safe and protected.
