As mentioned in the introductory note of this email, we’re excited to be able to begin serving children as young as three years old. The chart below shows the percentages of children we’ve served across three age ranges throughout the past four years. If this trend continues into the next year, we anticipate that nearly 25% of all the families we serve will have children ages 3-6.
We know that the need for providing these services is great. Our internal Forensic Team has been carefully documenting the referrals they make to Project CONTACT, and reasons why other families were not referred. Of this latter group nearly 40% were ineligible because their children were too young.
