2024 has been a very successful year for Project CONTACT. Below are some interesting stats on our program for the past year:
- We enrolled 107 families into our program
- Our families came from diverse backgrounds:
- Approximately two-thirds identified as non-White
- Almost 10% identified as Hispanic.
- We had three families whose primary language at home was Spanish.
- Not quite ten percent were households with two same-gender caregivers.
- Eighteen percent had annual household incomes of less than $10,000 and 10% had incomes of more than $100,000.
- Nearly half of our families had four or more children.
- On average, it took less than two weeks from the date of referral to the date of the family’s first appointment
- Of the 52% who graduated, they were in treatment for approximately 45 days.
- From pre- to post-intervention, caregiver’s ratings of their child’s symptomatology dropped an average of over 11 points (on an 80-point scale); children’s ratings of their own symptoms dropped nearly 17 points.
These are just a sampling of some of the data we’ve been gathering. As our project continues, we are looking forward to conducting some more robust analyses of our outcomes and predictors of response to treatment.
